Briefing
The Arsenio group commissioned us with the conceptual and branding development of Casa Angelita, “Tradición y gloria bendita”. A recreation of the old food houses, where eating tapas at the bar becomes a regular gesture as well as enjoying the traditional lifelong cuisine accompanied by local beverages such as Sherry and Sanlucar wines. The decoration of the premises bears the stamp of Gaspar Sobrino, well known in the province for his work in other restaurants and gastronomic spaces. A classic, traditional place, but with a modern and contemporary touch, full of noble materials such as clay, rope, wood and tiles from the past. Traditional but with glamour, from the lifelong Spain.

Story-telling
The name of the bar is a tribute to Angela, the typical “chicuca” who has done everything from cook to waitress, running her business for years, and that’s why this is our best tribute to her, and everything is focused on Angelita

Formulation
To develop this identity we rely on the fundamental pillar, Angelita. We researched typographies from legendary bars of all times and based on the Escrow typography, we made a lettering where every detail counts, to reflect that typographic rescue of yesteryear. In the rest of the identity there are different Victorian illustrations drawn by hand, which reflect the love and craftsmanship of the brand, making a perfect reflection of the values and care of Angelita.
